Crystal Grids are basically a way to use the focused energy of crystals and power of Sacred Geometry to bring about change, healing or manifest anything. They come in many shapes and sizes, simple to complex. For this grid I am going to be showing you a really simple Crystal Grid for healing from my bestselling book Crystal Grids Power.

When To Use This Crystal Grid For Healing:
This type of Crystal Grid can be used whenever you or another person needs some healing energy. It will support the physical or emotional healing process, and balances energy. If you’re doing this for someone else, you should ask for their permission first.
Simple crystal grid for healing
What You Will Need:
1 Medium or Large Amazonite* (for healing and balance)
6 Clear Quartz Crystal Points (for healing and to amplify energy)
Flower of Life Crystal Grid Template (See Below)
* If you can’t find Amazonite you can substitute it with Amethyst, Chevron Amethyst or Bloodstone.
You can use a Tumble Stone for the central stone but if you have another form such as a Standing Crystal Point, Cluster, Pyramid, Heart or Sphere then you can use that instead.
Optional Extras
If you feel guided and you have some Amethyst crystals then you could add those to the grid. Place six Tumbled Stones or Crystal Points at any of the flower-like intersection points to create a symmetrical shape.

Using a Crystal Grid Template
For this Crystal Grid you will be using an all-purpose Flower of Life symbol as the base. It is fairly easy to find and you can use one made of cloth, wood or copper if you have one. I got my energy-boosting copper one from Shamans Crystal.

Simple Crystal Grid Activation Method
To keep things nice and easy, I am going to show you a really simple method to activate the grid which does not use an Activation Wand. Activation programs or charges the crystals with your intention, so they can begin to do their work for you.
Before you begin, write on a small piece of paper an affirmation statement of your intention. This could be “I am healed on all levels” or “………………… is healed on all levels“.
How To Activate A Crystal Grid for Healing:
1. Hold all your cleansed crystals and the note in your hands.
2. Close your eyes and take three deep breaths.
3. Raise your crystals up in front of your Third Eye Chakra (brow area).
4. Focus on your desired result, use visualisation and emotion. Say to yourself or out loud a statement of your intention like “I program this Crystal Grid to restore health and bring healing to …………………. if that be for the highest and greatest good.”
5. Lastly arrange your crystals into position (see below).
Setting Up Your Crystal Grid
Now that your crystals are programmed with your intention, all you have to do is arrange them on the template. See the diagram below. The Amazonite goes into the centre on top of your folded note (1). The Quartz Crystal Points are placed around it, pointing outwards (2).
When you have finished with your Crystal Grid, remove the crystals and cleanse them. Remember to deactivate your grid before using the crystals for anything else. See my article on Deactivating Your Crystal Grid for more info.

Hi Melissa, it really depends on the individual situation. I would leave a grid up till what I needed has happened. If it is a situation which requires something to be maintained like abundance, you can leave it as long as you like.

I want to try using this grid for my father.
He was assaulted back in February and sustained a traumatic brain injury. He was in a semi coma for almost two months. He is now finally home and awake but not fully aware of his life. He has a lot of confusion and is not independent like he is to be. Would you recommend this grid or something else for the injury he had??

sir, when to use 6 crystal points pointing inward towards the center crystal and when to put them pointing away from central crystal in grids?
does it depend on the purpose or both works equally?
For most crystal grids I use Crystal Points pointing outwards as that is used to send out into the world or Universe
Hi Ethan, I recently purchased a grid the flower of life made out of wood I am pretty excited to use it for the first time. I just have a question can the clear quartz crystal be substituted for regular quartz crystals? Will it have the same affect on the grid?
When I say Clear Quartz I mean any Quartz that has no colour and is at least partly clear. So I would not use Rose Quartz or Snow Quartz (Completely white). The purpose of Clear Quartz is to distribute and enhance the energies with clarity. Clear Quartz crystals are the most useful and versatile crystals for gridding, I consider them essential tools in my book Crystal Grids Power. Well worth the investment.

Love your articles, very informative. I have a wooden Seed of Life grid but no instructions on how to use it, I would be grateful for some ideas, I’ve searched but not come up with anything useful, I was given a small bag of gemstones with it but no idea how to use them.
Anything would be useful.
You can use the Seed of Life for a few things but I like to use it for new beginnings and growing things. So it is really useful one to have :). There is much more detail for this symbol and ready made grids that use it in my book if you’re interested in learning more.

Hi Saroja, the intention note is placed under the central stone. You could create the grid for more than one person, mentioning them by name in the note and when you activate it.
Thanks for your prompt reply Ethan…I have another doubt. If the names are placed under the Central stone can we disturb it for keeping the names underneath when ever we get healing requests ? Won’t it disturb the alignment of energy as well?

No I don’t think so. The crystals can be moved for cleaning, it is temporary and does not affect anything in my experience.

Hello Ethan, I wonder if you could advise me on a grid I want to create. Someone I know is waiting for a lung transplant and while I have found out about various crystals to help with lung health issues, I haven’t discovered any crystals to do with ‘hoping for a transplant’. I had thought of a sunburst design for the grid. Can you suggest any crystals for the grids purpose? Thank you.
Hi, I have moved your comment to this article. Sorry, I am afraid I do not work with or teach about crystals for specific physical health conditions or symptoms. This is a general healing grid I have. You might find something in Judy Hall’s Crystal Prescriptions books.
I realise I’m probably a little late for this, but nevertheless:
• Rose Quartz: a big operation such as an organ transplant can be a terrifying thing to undergo, even if it’s transplant or leave this life. Rose Quartz is fantastic for that.
• Amethyst: for speedy recovery.
• Aquamarine: Queen of the throat chakra, this Beryl crystal is remarkable for the lungs. It needn’t be an actual, faceted gemstone; Aquamarine of any grade (and there is also a green form of the crystal which could be very helpful indeed) will work fine, even if it’s totally opaque.
• Malachite: an enormously powerful healer for chest cavity organs.
Other than these, if the patient has any favourotr pink or green crystals, these would be good in a grid designed especially for that person.

Hi Ethan thank you for the printable grid download I’m new to crystals but I’ve been buying different ones for a couple of month’s now amongst my purchases is a beautiful quartz pyramid it’s not totally transparent but I wondered if a pyramid is ok to use in a crystal grid? Yes, Pyramids are great for Crystal Grids and help amplify energy. I love to use them as the Central Stone and I cover them in more detail along with other shapes and forms in Crystal Grids Power if you’re interested.

I was wondering if I can used 3-4 smaller amazonite in place of 1 med-large stone? Is this just as effective?
You could try it but for me I feel this is fine for personal use and for placing crystals around the home but grids are different. The central Stone is also known as the Focus Stone, it is all about focused energy which is why I only place one stone here.

I share the simple all-in-one method to activate crystal grids on my blog because it is simple and easier. I go into the activation wand method in my book Crystal Grids Power. There are two schools of thought but when I try to manifest or send healing for example I send things out to their target or into the Universe. The central stone is the generator and the energies are distributed and sent out of most of my grids. I want the energy to go outwards to manifest.

What do you mean by “when you are finished with your crystal grid, remove them and cleanse them”? Do you have to put them away after you set your intentions or can you leave the grid with crystals until you feel that you are healed?
The grid isn’t finished with till you get the help or results that you are asking for

Hi GiGi,
You could include an Apatite crystal(s) or tumble(s) — your choice of colour. Apatite is a very helpful crystal to have around, especially for teeth and bones; its composition is close to an important substance in them, Hydroxylapatite. I use Paraiba Apatite myself in jewellery to assist with the comorbid Osteoarthritis which comes along with my Ankylosing Spondylitis — it really does help with morning joint stiffness!

Hello Ethan, I am fairly new to the practice of grid creating. My most important task is to open up to the spirit world so my angels can come through and guide me. I am hoping to be able to “know” or “feel” them once I do the correct grid pattern. I am also going to use oils to help magnify the energy of the stones and grid. I’ve always collected and understood meanings and metaphysical notes of crystals but I’m new to grids. Thank you for all the knowledge you share here. Can you tell me if this can be placed on the bedroom and combined with the sleep grid?

It depends what you mean by combine. The sleep grid I have in Crystal Grids Power goes around the bed. I wouldn’t put this grid under your bed or sleep on top of crystal points. Its okay to have a healing grid in your bedroom but not right next to the bed in case it disturbs your sleeping patterns.
I am new to the power of crystals so I’m seeking advice wherever I can, but I’ve started using crystals because I hope the powers of crystals can help me with my visions. Is it a good idea to use crystal grids when the user of the grid is occasionally having short but vivid visions of the future?

Could you please tell me if it is alright to colour my Crystal grid or should I just have a single colour background with the grid in one colour like Black, Gold or Copper?
I was wanting to colour the grid in colours that I felt drawn towards while looking at it.
I draw and colour mandalas and that is the process I use to colour them.

Thank you for your very helpful resources. I understood that quartz points should (?) be placed facing inward at the new moon to attract what you are manifesting and turned outward at the full moon to release all that needs to go/be released. Is this correct in your view? Thank you.
Some people work that way but I don’t. In most cases, all intentions are sent outwards into the universe to manifest and come back to you later. So I use outwards pointing crystals for manifesting things.
