Archangel Crystals
The archangels have been a big part of my spiritual path and awakening process. So have crystals of course. It always made sense to me that with these high angels that certain crystals would carry their energy. These archangel crystals work with the angels and help anchor their energy to the earth and you.
Of course, you don’t need crystals to work with angels but it might be helpful. Also, there is no official crystal list and many people have different opinions on this. Lots of crystals are associated with different archangels. What I am sharing here are just some of my associations.
How To Work With Archangel Crystals
I’ve included the qualities of the archangels below. However, your relationship with them may be different. I’m focusing on archangels I’m familiar with and have worked with. Also, gender is not always agreed upon either. I believe they are more energetic and appear differently to different people. Therefore, I use pronouns based on my experience with them.
You might already have a favourite angel but if not choose one that could help you in your life. Once you see the crystal association it is up to you how you work with it. You could carry, wear or meditate with it. It could be placed in your home, on an altar or sacred space too.
Archangel Michael
The Archangel Michael is one of the most well-known archangels. He is an angel of protection, empowerment and inner strength. He works closely with those who are trying to align with their life purpose. Archangel Michael can also be called on to clear negative energy, entities or influences around you. For instance, while space clearing in your home or any location. You can also call on him for psychic protection, aura clearing or etheric cord-cutting.
Blue Kyanite
The crystal I associate with the Archangel Michael is Blue Kyanite. This high vibration crystal protects you from negative energy and harmful influences. Blue Kyanite helps strengthen your aura and encourages healthy personal boundaries. This makes it ideal for empaths too. Blue Kyanite raises your vibration. In addition, it can be used to cut etheric cords to people or situations that are draining you.
Archangel Raphael
The Archangel Raphael is most known in modern times as the angel of healing. He helps with both physical, emotional and spiritual healing. You can call on him for anything related to health and healing. Archangel Raphael works with healers. He guides those with dormant healing abilities and anyone training to be a healer or medical practitioner. Traditionally, he is also the angel of travel too. Archangel Raphael can guide you on your travels or assist you with moving home (relocating).
Amazonite
Green to blue-green Amazonite carries the energy of the Archangel Raphael. This crystal emanates gentle healing energy at all times. Amazonite helps keep your aura balanced and your energy (chi/prana) balanced and flowing freely. This is a wonderfully soothing crystal ideal for managing stress. Amazonite is also excellent for emotional healing. It also assists you with healing core wounds within the heart chakra.
Archangel Gabriel
The Archangel Gabriel is the angel of messages, news and communication. You can call on this archangel when you need help in communicating something to others or the world. For example, this could be in writing, books, talks, classes, blog posts or videos. She also helps with creative and artistic projects. Archangel Gabriel makes you aware of your divinely inspired tasks and missions.
BLUE LACE AGATE
Beautifully layered, Blue Lace Agate helps you communicate your message and speak your truth. This form of agate is one of the best stones for clearing blockages in your throat chakra. It brings clarity to your communications and clears up misunderstandings. Blue Lace Agate helps you remain calm under pressure. This stone can be helpful to manage anxiety around creative projects or your life purpose.
Archangel Uriel
Uriel’s name can be translated as fire or light of God. He can be seen as the angel of illumination, insights and prophecy. Archangel Uriel can bring you a flash of inspiration or a creative solution just when you need it. He helps with decision making and choices. You could work with him if you use divination or astrology in your work. In addition, some call on this angel when there has been a natural disaster.
CELESTITE
Celestite helps illuminate your path to your highest potential. It encourages you to follow your north star, rather than the path others want you to walk. Through the help of Archangel Uriel, your guides and angels, this crystal helps you navigate life choices and choose your direction. It sharpens your gift of foresight to see possible future scenarios more clearly. Celestite also supports you in making a fresh start when needed.
Archangel Metatron
The Archangel Metatron is said to be the angel that writes everything that happens in a divine book. For this reason, he is connected to the akashic records, the spiritual records of everything, past, present and future. Archangel Metatron helps with esoteric understanding, metaphysical knowledge and spiritual growth. He assists with ascension and guides indigo, crystal and rainbow souls.
APOPHYLLITE
Does anyone else always seem to misspell this mineral? 😂 Apophyllite is a very high vibration crystal that supports your spiritual awakening and growth. It connects you with ancient knowledge from the past through the akashic records. Apophyllite helps you to enter deep meditation states and raises your vibration. This cleansing crystal aligns you with the wisdom of your higher self.
Archangel Ariel
The Archangel Ariel’s name is translated as lion or lioness of God. This angel is connected with nature and supports environmentalism. She is often called on to heal or protect animals, both wild and domesticated. You could call on her to help you adopt an animal or find a lost pet. Ariel’s connection to lions also indicates to me that this angel can help with self-empowerment.
LEOPARD SKIN JASPER
This isn’t a true Jasper but actually a form of Rhyolite, sometimes known as Leopard Skin Rhyolite. It’s excellent for those that work with or love animals. Leopard Skin Jasper carries the energy of all big cats and the little ones too. It is helpful in animal healing for any type or species of animal. This stone is good for shamanic healing work and working with the energies of Earth. Also, Leopard Skin Jasper can be used to communicate with your pets and any wild animals.
Archangel Raziel
The Archangel Raziel’s name translates as secrets of God. This mystical angel is said to have written down the secrets of the universe. He helps with studying metaphysical systems and using them in your life. Archangel Raziel assists you in understanding esoteric information, manifesting techniques, sacred geometry and ancient symbols. Additionally, he can also be called on for psychic development and past life healing.
SAPPHIRE RECORD KEEPER
Blue Sapphire Record Keeper crystals have a triangular indent or raised shape on the top of them. These crystals store ancient spiritual information and knowledge within them. A Sapphire Record Keeper helps you access your inner wisdom and receive spiritual downloads. This blue stone helps awaken your clairvoyant abilities and understanding of sacred geometry. It’s a great stone for those that are spiritual teachers or teaching metaphysical concepts.

What about Charoite? I now have two small tumbles of this gorgeous crystal, and I always sense an Angelic presence when I work with their energies — curiously, the more so in the case of the second one I got, which is a softer colour but looks like a button.

That’s interesting. It could be a connection to the Archangel Zadkiel. This stone carries the violet flame energy which Zadkiel works with.

Thanks Ethan, that’s really interesting! I had a strange dream just after I got that second Charoite, and it was definitely centred around the Violet Flame. I’ve looked up Zadkiel, and there’s definitely a familiar feel about the information which I’ve found.
Next step: call on Zadkiel directly and see what happens!

What do you like working with for Chamuel?
It depends on what you feel Chamuel rules. If its unconditional love then Rose Quartz or Rhodochrosite would be good options.
