Can You Have More Than One Crystal Grid?

Can You Have More Than One Crystal Grid?

Can you have more than one crystal grid and how many crystal grids can you have going at the same time? This is a question I get asked a lot, especially from beginners and those new to crystal grids.

Can You Have More Than One Crystal Grid Activated?

Yes, you can have more than one crystal grid working for you. In most cases, a crystal grid acts as a focal point and beacon for manifesting, healing, protection or creating some kind of change in our life.
You could use different grids at the same time for different life areas and goals. You might have one grid to protect your home, one for balancing your emotions and one for success for example. You may also have grids for other people set up, like a distant healing crystal grid.

How Many Crystal Grids Can I Have Going At Once?

This is a tricky question to answer because everyone and everyone’s situation is different. If you are new to crystal grids, then I would not really recommend making lots of grids, all at the same time. This can be a bit confusing and it may be hard to really see what is working for you.
Lots of crystal grid bases and boards
You can have more that one crystal grid, but what is your ‘why?’

I think it is better to take your time when first learning crystal grids. Gradually build up and maybe focus on one to three grids as a rough guide.

this is not a race or competition!”

If you have more experience with crystals or gridding you may be more comfortable with making lots of grids. I think the most grids I have had going at the same time was possibly four. I remember feeling like that was my limit at the time, but that’s just me.

You may want to do more, it’s up to you but I would seriously think about why you feel you need to make lots of crystal grids at once. Here are some things to consider if you do decide to make more than one crystal grid.

Think About Your Priorities

It might seem like a good idea to make crystal grids for many different life areas and for different goals you have. I would caution you from trying to fix your entire life all at once. I have seen much better results by focusing on my most pressing problems or top goals.

TIP: Write a list of all the grids you want to do and rate them between 1 to 10 for importance and urgency.

Highlight your top 3 and start from the top.

Consider Your Space If Working With More Than One Crystal Grid

You might find that it is not very practical to have lots of crystal grids in your home. This is even more relevant if you share a flat (apartment) or live with your parents and can only place them in one room. You will need to make sure you have space for lots of grids. Ideally, I would place them in different parts of a room but that is not always possible.
I try to give crystal grids some breathing space if placed on the same surface or in a small area. As a general guide If the largest crystal grid is 8″ wide, then 8″ space between grids is ideal. If that is not possible then I recommend at least a hand span between your crystal grids.

Try to have at least a hand span between two crystal grids on one surface

I also find they don’t do well with mundane clutter around them like letters, bills, car keys or old magazines. For more guidance on this please see my book Crystal Grids Power.

TIP: I have found crystal grids do not work well when placed on or near large electrical devices like TVs.

What’s Your Budget?

Having lots of crystal grids out at once can get expensive too because so many crystals are used. It is much more cost effective and easier to reuse your crystals.
Once you have finished with a grid you can then use some of those crystals, like Clear Quartz crystal points again in a new grid for example.

Some crystal grids especially large ones can use a lot of crystals

Thank you Ethan, I have not been doing grids long and have read two of your books. I have four grids going now. You have been a tremendous help. Again thank you.

Do you have any recommendations for online crystal shopping?
I go to some stores but at times it gets overwhelming and very expensive.
I’m just starting on this journey and need to build up my crystal and stone collection and would appreciate the advice. You can email me directly if you don’t want to advertise any particular site.

    Thank you,
    Michelle

At the moment I have 6 in my house, 4 are for distant healing, 1 is for planet Earth healing, and 1 is a personal one. I tend to place them according to Feng Shui areas for particular reasons, health, hope, goals, etc. However there is plenty of space between them even though there are 3 in one room, 2 in another (at opposite ends of each room), and then one in a room on its own. Hopefully their powers aren’t compromised.

I’d honestly never thought about doing more than one crystal grid before – I find that if there’s too many things going on, it’s hard to figure out which is really aiding me. I do like your tip giving them space to breathe. If I were to do more than one grid I’d probably place them in different rooms!

    Thanks for the info,

    Jess

Love this article. I am somewhat new to crystals but am absolutely in love with them. I am interested in grids but am still building up my collection of Crystal’s. I have one question. Maybe you have an article about it already you can link me to. Is there any specific order or placement that Crystal’s should go in or do you just group together crystals that would work together for what you want and place them nicely in some design?
