Why Meditate With Crystals?
One of the best ways to connect with your crystals is through the power of meditation. When you meditate with crystals you can really tap into their energy in an instant and very direct way.
I meditate with crystals a lot but I am not sure how others do this. You don’t have to shave your head and move to the top of a mountain to meditate (this does sound more appealing than it used to…). Just a five or ten minute crystal meditation is all you need.
How To Meditate With Crystals
There are many different styles of meditation, if you’re already doing one try combining it with crystals. I don’t believe any technique is really better, it’s more about finding one that works for you. I personally like meditations that use visualisation, so that is how I meditate with crystals. In this blog post, I’m going to share a simple crystal meditation you can try.
Which Crystal Should I use?
This is really up to you. There are some crystals that are good for a meditation practice in general but here I really want you to use the tool of meditation to connect with your crystals.
This is a great way to get to know a new crystal or one that has been a bit neglected. You can also use this to tap into the energy or properties that you need right now. So pick your crystal and let’s go!
Filter Out Distractions
You can meditate with crystals anywhere you feel comfortable. The least distractions you have the better, this is why we close our eyes. Perhaps you can find a quiet relaxed place in your home or outside in nature? If you’re indoors, close any doors and put your phone on mute or quiet mode.
Creating Sacred Space
This is entirely optional but having some relaxing music playing quietly in the background might be helpful. You can also use ambient sounds like waves or forest sounds. There are lots of free meditation music and ambient sounds on Youtube.
Other ways to create a nice ambience that is with the power of scent. Diffuse some relaxing natural essential oils in a diffuser or oil burner. You could also burn some incense in a well-ventilated room.

1. Sit with your legs crossed on a cushion if possible. If not use a chair. Get comfortable.
2. Hold your crystal and before you begin, look at it closely. Turn it around, look at the shape, colours and any special characteristics.
3. Now hold your crystal with both hands, resting them in your lap. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.
4. Focus on the crystal in your hands, feel it and see it clearly as possible in your mind’s eye.
5. Just relax and be open to receiving the energy of the crystal as you focus on it, breathing in and out naturally. If your mind wanders, bring it back to the stone.
6. Once you have finished. Open your eyes but take your time before getting up or doing anything else.
