5 Crystals For Energy – Boost Your Energy Levels Naturally

Do you have low energy levels? Are you tired all the time or suffer from fatigue? Here are five crystals for energy that may help you. Boost your physical energy levels with natural crystal healing.
Tiredness is a common problem and will affect almost everyone at some point. It can have many causes and is a symptom of many other conditions. If it is serious and stopping you from getting out of bed, always see a doctor. Crystal healing is a complementary medicine, so always make sure that you use it in conjunction if you suffer from any illness.

TIP: Try as little as 10 minutes of exercise such as Yoga or stretching in the morning to kick start your energy levels for the day.

How To Work With Crystals For Energy

In my experience, there are crystals that give a boost to my energy levels. These tend to be stones of the Fire element and Lower Chakras, but not always. I have also noticed they are often Iron-rich stones and Iron is a mineral that we all need for energy. To really benefit from them you would need to wear or carry the stone with you all day and every day if the problem is longterm.
You may find that you only need to carry or wear the stone when you need it, such as while at work for example or after a bad night’s sleep. You can remove the crystal when you are home so you can relax.
I do not recommend you sleep with an energy-boosting stone or place any near the bed as they could keep you up. If you feel anxious with the stone, remove it and test shorter periods of use, like one hour a day for example.

TIP: You can combine an energising crystal with a piece of Clear Quartz to amplify its effects. Clear Quartz also increases the size and vibrancy of your aura.

Selecting Stones

As always you only need one crystal, so choose by the properties or use your intuition. If you have a few available, test them out and see which crystal works best for you. I will share my personal favourite and the one I recommend to anyone who needs an energy boost…

5 CRYSTALS FOR ENERGY:

Garnet

Garnet is my go-to stone for increasing your energy levels and boosting motivation when needed. Choose any red or dark red Garnet, some look almost black. Almandine Garnet is easy to find and highly effective. You can also choose Pyrope Garnet which is more clear.

Carnelian

Carnelian is orange to red and may have some white in it, it’s easy to find and pretty inexpensive. This stone boosts energy within all the Lower Chakras and helps motivate you. Carnelian is not too strong, so if other stones are too much for you, try this one.

Carnelian Tumble Stone

Tiger’s Iron

This stone is a combination of three different crystals, golden Tiger’s Eye, Red Jasper and Hematite. It should show a good amount of dark Hematite in layers. Tiger’s Iron is sometimes called Tiger’s Eye Matrix. This stone is both grounding and energising at the same time.

Dragon’s Eye

Dragon’s Eye is also known as Red Tiger’s Eye. It is a rust red form of Tiger Eye. It is dark in colour with lighter red stripes that illuminate and shift in the light. This less well-known stone is a great energiser and fiercely protective crystal.

Tangerine Quartz

Not to be confused with Tangerine Aura. These are completely natural clear Quartz crystals which have come into contact with Iron oxides which coated the surface with an orange layer. They may be partially orange too. Tangerine Quartz crystals increase energy flow through the body and your aura.

Greetings Ethan I don’t know if it would be considered a crystal but my go to for many years is a Boji stone. I really enjoyed as always this blog and will definitely explore these 5 crystals at different times of course. My husband also surprised me with your crystal grids power book it is fabulous!!!

Hi, Ethan. Thank you for this article, I found it very informative.
I am wearing rutilated quartz jewellery (“Angel hair”) and, as soon as I put my earrings and pendant on, I can feel my energy increasing. I find this stone most helpful when I have low energy. Wearing a Tigers’ eye bracelet also helped me.
I will definitely try the ones that you mentioned. Cheers!

I also love Citrine as an energizing Crystal. It has a lovely, gentle positive energy and gives a positive boost to my mood.

    hello ethan,
first thanks for such wonderful information. 🙂
within the last year or two i have been collecting hematoid quartz and find my energy skyrockets when just holding it. i have become obsessed with it! it is mostly a reddish (sometimes tangerine & even a golden color) inclusion in an odd quartz that rather looks like rose quartz in that it has those lines through it and is a bit cloudy (but not always), i even found one that is pinkish but most are clear or whitish (lotsa “ish” here lol). if you haven’t tried it and get a chance it is really an awesome stone you should try.

Very nice collection of crystals! The magic and power of crystals are immense and I know this since the time my sister gifted me Golden Rutilated Quartz. She probably had bought it from Ayana Wellness. This crystal is a tremendous support for me and I still use it. Since my daughter is suffering from renal problems and she has very low energy levels these days, I wanted some crystals to support her strengths. The list of crystals is excellent and I think I would like to choose carnelian as it is not very strong. I hope it would help her to regain energies. I would like to know more about crystals for eliminating negative energies. Would you not mind suggesting me crystals for combating negative energies for my daughter?

Red Garnets are my favorites and I have quite a few pieces of jewelry with them. In India, the setting is done with a hole at the back to enable the energy to come into the body. I’m going to try it to boost my energy levels that have become low following surgery, despite taking rest, eating properly and meditating for relaxation. Thanks Ethan.

      Hi Vatsala,

I would recommend adding an Amethyst for swift recovery from surgery. I have a friend who’s had double mastectomies, double reconstructive surgeries, plus chemo to try to kill her cancer. The chemo has ruined her immune system, and she (who is a trained Reiki healer) swears by Amethyst for recovery from anything from colds to major operations.

      Love and Light.

Hello! I bought some new crystals because I was having trouble falling asleep and with anxiety. I was able to sleep wonderfully after sageing them and placing them in my room. But for last two days since I am extremely tired while studying. Today I have taken 2 of my adderals and still I am falling asleep. I am so tired, almost like I took a hardcore sleeping pill or muscle relaxant. What can be going on? I need to study for finals, so I am worried.

It’s hard to know if it has anything to do with your crystals. People react differently to certain crystals. The only way to check is remove them from your bedroom and see if it makes any difference.

some of the crystal listed here are somewhat difficult to find in my country.

I am quite partial to tiger eye so tiger iron would be my first pick out of all of them, unfortunately, nearly nobody sold those, even if they did, they ask quite a hefty price for it.

that left me with garnet and carnelian. I don’t vibe with them though when I envision them with my current crystals I am carrying around.

maybe garnet, it is a very huge maybe though.

for now, I am using smoky quartz with mookaite jasper (dark red) for grounding and health and dealing with bad habit. A bunch of my current crystals all have protective qualities somehow… even if I think I don’t really need this much protective stones, they just happen to be what I put together.

labradorite, tiger eye, smoky quartz, mookaite, blue kyanite. (i am a little unsure that I might end up going a little overboard somewhere but i don’t know what)

    1. kris

      oh, I forgot to mention.

addition of mookaite jasper together with smoky quartz seems to help for me, since I tend to tire easily. could be a root chakra issue.

some stones that can be good for energy
sunstone (solar plexus, i think, so motivation and sunny energy boost akin to citrine) , red jasper (physical vitality)

      1. sean owen

Hi there, I’m not sure about regulations and safety protocols, but I have quite a few pieces of Tigers iron, that I would be happy to gift to you if there is a way to do that somehow..

        1. kris

hello, thank you for the offer, though I am afraid I resides in South East Asia. it will likely be too far away.

I have been trying out a few other alternatives instead, though, if nothing helps, perhaps, I could simply gather tiger eye+hematite+red jasper together. it should be able to replicate a similar energy, just with multiple crystals.

  11. Cherry

    Two words.

    Red Jade.

This stuff is a sanity saver when autoimmune fatigue hits. It’s a warrior stone, associated with the root chakra and crammed with Ch’i. Not only can it help restore my energy levels when my immune system goes barmy, it can help remind me to use the right management strategies (rest/activity balance).

I am so glad I bought that tumblestone. For just £3.50, considering of the benefits it has to offer, it was an absolute bargain.

On a non-crystal note, I find thunderstorms to be both cleansing and revitalising.

    Love and Light.
