Who Is Archangel Raphael?
Archangel Raphael is one of the most well-known archangels. He is often depicted in green robes with a caduceus or a wand with a snake wrapped around it (healing). His aura colour is emerald green and in modern times he has been connected to the Heart Chakra.
Archangel Raphael works closely with Archangel Michael (You can see my guide to Michael’s crystals here!). When you know what Raphael’s powers are, this makes perfect sense.
How Archangel Raphael Can Support You
Archangel Raphael can be called on when you are unwell or want to be healed. Much of the time he will guide you to the right treatment, supplement or doctor. This isn’t just physical healing, Raphael helps those with mental health challenges too.
He supports you with energetic healing and emotional healing on your spiritual path. This angel is a guide for healers of all kinds, from doctors, nurses, energy healers, therapists, nutritionists and counsellors.
Traditionally, Raphael is an angel who guides travellers. You can call on him and his angels for protection while travelling in the spiritual world (astral travel, dream work, past lives etc). And when travelling in the physical world (on foot, cars, public transport etc).

I was immediately interested to read the blog about Archangel Raphael on receiving your email and then drawn to read about the crystals that relate to Archangel Michael (coincidence that both names end ‘hael’ ?). I have a number of the relevant crystals for both the Archangels already and will now introduce them into my Reiki healing work.

I have a question for you. I was wearing an Emerald for a couple of month and I noticed that the back of the crystal that was against my chest had turned black. Any idea why that would happen?

Its possible that its the contact with your skin chemistry or natural oils. But spiritually speaking you should see my blocg post all about Why Did My Crystal Change for other possibilities.
I’ve worked with Archangel Raphael for a long time and have received healing for myself, for others and for pets! I forgot how this angel protects travelers though and always call on only my guardian angel for that purpose. Now, I will also ask Raphael. The heart shaped Amazonite is too beautiful btw. I would love to get a stone like that one day.
